  • Dead cylinder

Developed a misfire.... cylinder #4... Swapped coils and DIS module and no avail. #4 wire is firing....Thinking the injector is clogged....I did a leak down test on the injectors as it seem to drop the pressure the same as all the others....compression test checks out....no doubt my engine is probably ready for the YARDE.... All cylinders are combusting but #4. Input apprieciated....

Make sure you use dielectric grease and check the boot terminals for burning or them being bent to wide.

I got a set of nib delco 7mm or 7.7mm, something like that, off ebay for abou 40 bucks....I also had a miss. It was the wires, heat had broken them down and they were 'leaking' the spark...

re checked the fronts all is at 180. I guess i didnt have the hose screwed in tight enough.Car runs fine includeing more power and economy!! But my IAC has shorted out. Between the injector and that I think these two parts have been decaying for a long while and I have never noticed it.....
