  • 95 Top end gasket set

Hey guys, I have been reading this forum for a while now. I really like the Headers by Aaron and the Turbo projects.
Unfortunately, I don't have the experience or money to do those things.
But I am going to replace the top-end gaskets on my 95 Monte Z34.

Can you tell me a part # and website to order from? I saw posted that advance auto parts has a set for like 107 bucks but was not able to find it.

Also, I am going to replace the plugs, wires, O2 sensor and brake booster hose with steel braided; I have those parts already.

I just paid off the 2500 for the body work and it looks perfect except the one headlamp looks newer because it was replaced, otherwise a perfect job, I will probably black out the headlamps anyways.

My car was actually built in late 94, does that matter on the gasket set? I think in 95 where I'm from (CA) cars had to have 2 O2 sensors, my only has one. lucky me?

Off topic, does anyone know where I can get the flexable tubing to route my intake?

I wish growing wine didn't take so much time. And then the free time should be spent with wife watching Dr. Phil re-runs. Can't a guy just drink beer and work on his car?

The 91 to 95 motors are internally the same. The gasket set same will also be the same. Just search for a head gasket set on the website you want to buy from. I'm 99% sure the major stores will carry the Felpro kit.

napatiger, get some 1500 grit wet sand paper, and a mini high speed buffer.
wet sand your old composite head lamp assy untill it feels smooth through the sand paper, dry it complely, and buff with polishing compoud on the buffer, and your headlamp will look as good as the new one

The price went up to 126 bucks at advance. Just ask for a head gasket set and you will get all the gaskets for the head gaskets on up.

Thanks sappySE107 for the part # you seem to be one of the most knowledgable guys on here.

Thanks cotton for the tip on the headlamp cleaning

Any ideas on the flextube for cold air intake?

napa sells the whole head set but its like 189.99, although there gaskets are usually higher quality than felpro... as far as the flextube you can just go to any sears or hardware store and get it, they use it for vents on laundry dryers...
