Probably. All I know is I am not as stupid as you think I am, jackass. And BTW, it's not that I "didn't let it go" as you say. This is the first time besides that thread I have said anything about it. As for the 2 minutes, I would like to see that. Want a Bozo Button for it? If you knew the solution all along, why bother wasting the time to post a question and wasting everyones time on the board? When you have accomplished something more then fixing a stalling problem or changing your spark plugs, you can come back and see me.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

Why has this not been locked???
We all know how to get the plugs. It has beend discussed for the better part of 2 pages. WTF??? Cut the piece if you want, or don't. You can cut it, or unmount the top mount and rock it, or just try your luck. There really is no other way. So let's stop arguing. My god. 2 pages on 3 plugs that aren't even that bad.
Have you guys ever even tried the back plugs on the 3.8SC??? It took me and Shane over 2 hours!!!

No crack today??
I like to analyze things, test and replace the cheap parts, and move on to the expensive ones. That's how I do things.
btw - wanna race?....... I'll have my sparkplugs out in 2 minutes flat. While you're fumbling with extensions, I'll be done already
I bet I have pulled more engines than you have ever seen... in fact, I'm working on a Caddy Northstar swap into a fiero as we speak.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

Good, that shows that you know more then most on the board
simply stating that the part was new kinda got to me. Reason? Because most people that know their way around an engine bay know that it is possible for brand new parts to be bad.Okay now, that's enough of that.

I had a rear header on as well pocket rocket.
And the only reason I started it was to see if it ran and to analyze what else i needed to do to it. And I used the duct tape becuz i couldn't find any metal lying around, So I had to go get some. And my parents had our other cars, so I had now ay to get it.
Anyways, it is fixed now and working.
Sorry for saying that, it was another one of those days where I'd be passed out drunk if I was 21....

Well today, I am more calmed down then the other day (12.63 hours wears ya out). I am sorry for blowing up on both of you. Aaron, isn't your EGR turned off? If it is, technically, I think you could have gotten away with just bolting it back down, and since it won't open, it would act as a plug to keep you from having a huge vacuum leak. Now that I think about it, what I said was completely wrong. I totally forgot about not having an EGR tube (duh, I don't have headers, yet ). I was thinking about the heat coming up the tube, catching the tape on fire, and now that I have my head on straight today, I see all you wanted to do is keep from having a huge vacuum leak. I won a cutting torch/welding kit off of ebay, so hopefully soon I will have a set of headers started so Ben and I can join the club
Ryan, I do agree about not liking to notch out the metal under the weather strip either. I don't know why, I just don't. Also I rethough about what you posted. If I had a missing I couldn't figure out, and posted about it (not exactly likely that situation would arise, lol) and someone suggested plugs and wires, I would have to dismiss it, due to the fact of having 8.5mm Magnecor wires and new Rapidfire plugs, so I guess we kinda think alike. Anyways,-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

Nothing personal... just that I don't do something that I don't personallybelieve in... That includes notching the sheet metal under the weather stripping. It's not like I was notching the frame or anything At any rate, I still do believe that's the best way to do it. I wouldn't do it if the car weren't mine, but it saves lots of time. I suppose you can think of it like cutting a hole in your trunk to access the fuel pump (although maybe not as severe as that)... If you know you're going to have to replace the pump every 20,000 miles, wouldn't you make it easier on yourself next time? Anywho...
Again this tip will only help if you change plugs every 3-5k miles.I am back

Pocket Rocket, from experience I am going to PM you with a few ideas that will help you tremendously.
No I had BEn turn it back on a while ago, so now I get a SES light periodically. And since ti was on, it would open and close it too. With no duct tape, the car idled at 2400. And with open headers, not even Y'ed, this is FUCKING LOUD.
