Transmission Explosion

My trans blew two planetary gears out the passenger side of the case. I was in the Burger King drive through and I the car in N I didnt even get to order my food I went to pull up and as soon as I put the trans In D It blew up. So I went to get the trans today and first the guy brought me out a trans for a 1995 Monte Carlo. The case on the Conte is Different I wasn't going to work. And Mind you I called this guy twice in the last week to see if he was sure he had a trans for a 93 W Body 3.4 he said yeah we have 3. So Next he takes me out to this 93 Cutlass That they had marked as a 94 and I got into with guy because he kept telling me it was a 94 So after cleaning the emission sticker off and i shwoed him it was a 93 he still didn't believe me So then I got my regerstation and compared the year with the vin he then believe me. Then we looked at the car I find paper work a sticker on the valve cover that the engine was rebuilt at 151,000 I looked at the OD 184,945 miles yeah right this car wasnt even that messed up it wasn't totalted or ne thing. mmmm I wonder why it was in the junk yard! Then He we go look at this 1993 grand prix STE and he was like there we go that thing has 87,000 miles on it and it drive in here with a blown engine I didnt even have to get in the car and know it wasnt a 93 seening that it had the newer style interior. So this guy calls up his warehouse I drive 20 more miles out of my way and I get there and they bring me out a trans for a 94 Cutlass that was missing bolts from the diff cover I told that guy to just give my damn money back! I found another trans tho was closer to my house. Im gonna take a bunch of picutres of this trans its soooooo bad such a big hole. I allready have the trans out Im gonna do all kinds of things since I have the room know. It was a bitch this time to get the trans out 3 out of 4 cradel bolts broke and I had to Drill them out it sucked!!!

you can replace the nuts in the chassis and get new bolts from gm. its just a matter of breaking them out of the cage... need air tools to do it though....fyi.. i'm very far from you but i have a working transmission that'll knock your socks off. Shifts very well. $400.rebuilt with about 30k on it. you can pm me if you want details

OK after it taking 4 days to get a trans its finally in, all thats left to do is put new outer tierods on seeing that i messed them up taking them off;then put the wheels on and drive it.... Let me tell you this was the biggest pain in the ass ever, this wasnt my first 3.4DOHC trans job I have done This would be my thrid time doing this you would think it would have been easy for me... yeah right that would be tooooo easy huh? Started off bad, tierods broke taking them out, then we moved on to the cardle bolts and ever single one of those striped out so we had to drill them out and the heat the studs up and turn them out of the car, after all this I get the trans in turn the key NO VOLATGE !!!! I guess when I was pulling the PWS hoses up the side of the engine bay I messed up the voltage reg plug. So I had my girlfreind bring me one home from work, she works at Murrays Auto Parts..But anyways the next thing I buy for this car is a BIG FOR SALE SIGHN !!!!!!!
