OK, I have 2 questions. First I am replacing my timeing belt and I dont want to change the timing at all. I am happy with the current timing so I was making sure that as long as I lined up all the timeing marks on the cams before I took the old belt off that all i have to do is take the old belt off and put the new one on without moving anything and it should start right up and run like before correct?
Second, I started this a day ago and while i was in there I took off the tensioner actuator and had to put it on and take it off several times because I missed the little cup that the ball thing on the end of the actuator fits into. I guess in the process I over tightened it and I broke the fitting that the actuator slides into (closest to the engine block) it is like a cast aluminum piece with a copper fitting in it. I was wondering if the dealer will have this part or if anyone knows the part number or just if anyone has done this in the past becuase it seemed like it broke pritty easily just from me having to take it on and off a few times? Thanks
