  • dry start ?

When i start my car after it sits all night or when it is cold out and the motor is cold when i start it it sounds like the lower end is dry . it gos away before the rpms get to 2k it is real fast its not doing it that long . IM running mobil 1 5 w30 . Could the oil be runnig back in to the oil pan and not staying primed ? The motor has 67k on it. Any help would be cool!

    Thanks, Don

My, car has been doing that too. I just figured it was my oil pump getting tired or something. Now I'm wondering if I should be worried.

if it is losing prime try using a K&N oil filter because it acts as a check valve so that way the oil cant run back. i know they cost about $20 can. i dont know what they cost in the u.s.
