When I did mine I followed Mitchells instructions and never felt like I was going to strip one. The final tightening is done by degreeing . And it is a pretty good pull at that.

Well, its real easy if you are pocket-rocket and try to put 250 foot pounds on the bolts. Otherwise, its not just gonna strip out on you if you follow the torque specs.
