  • Head Bolt Lube?

Should the new head bolts on a 3.4 Litre engine be lubed with light oil when torqued and tightened 90* ?
Seems I read that somewhere but it is not mentioned in the factory manual.

      THANKS a million.
I'm just about to install the rear head/exhaust manifold assembly. I don't have ARP lube as I bought dealer head bolts. I'll use light oil.

Hey Jogasz28 ive gotta say, i checked out that link to your 68 Camaro , and damn that thing is freakin sweet, i absoultly love it. i have a 68 Camaro Convertible ,im in the process of restoring it, im thinking about painting it black with a white top, but i really like that colour that you have on yours, im putting an RS/SS package on it, and ive got a 350 that im stroking to a 383 to put into it. i just have to say you have a sweet car though, i love those styles of camaros, they are my favorite.

          Thanks.
I waited a long time for the right car to come along at the right price.
The paint was already on it. All I've done is work on the mechanical so far.
I'll keep it and give it to one of my Sons.

A couple but not many. It's been a busy year for family and work.
