Help Fast: My Car Sounds Like This

OMFG, it started since ive had an oil leak under my car..i think commin from oil pan..and now my engine gradually sounds worse....oh god guys please help me.

It's toast. You've thrown a rod. You will need a new engine.

I doubt a new engine is in order but yeah that sounds like a rod knock. Just get the front of the car up on jack stands or ramps and drop the oil pan, find the culprit and replace everything that looks bad. If the rod is damaged then you will have to pull one of the heads to get it out. Might as well just put all new bearings in while you have it apart. Fix the oil leak and watch your oil pressure

ya its not my engine...buuut i added some oil and the noise went down a lil...its not that loud but still buggin me.....question tho. i heard the oil pan cant come off without it being on jackstands right?...the seal is fucked on the pan

you'll need to jack up the car atleast a foot if not more...

i just changed out the oil pan on my 93 Z24... i had the jack stands under the jack points on the rockers and they were about half way up. oil pan to floor was 14" or so...

you need to find out what it actually is... It's been a while since i've looked at a DOHC 3.4 but maybe pull the cam covers and check for spun cam bearings or maybe a valveguide pushed out.. etc....

could u guys give me a list of things that could be wrong then i can start fixing each one...lol cuz i mean iam replacing most of engine parts and upgrading them anyway...
