Weird setup compared to 91-95, having the cannister purge attached on the fuel rail. The purge itself is the left one and the vacuum switch is the right one. On the switch, I have a vacuum line running over to the purge, but I have another elbow on it with nothing going to it. Is this supposed to be hooked up to something?

i kinda remember that there is a rubber elbow just open to the air there. but from pics i have there are two lines attached to the left unit. both on the right side.
what exactly does this vacuum perge system do? does it have anything to do with the evap system? cause im getting an intermitant p1441. im also seeing a p0507 high idle. but i cant find the vac leak... tried spraying starting fluid around all the intake connections and not fluctuations in the rpm....

humm cause when i looked at my haynes manuel it said for me to pull my drv rear wheel and it would be there. but that makes sence cause i just had that stuff off when i did my injectors.
and yep they do have the PT for the 96. i like it works good. need more practice before i do any real tuning... but great to get my a few odds and ends dialed in correctly. and also great to get a data log

yeah this is something I noticed and didn't bother taking into account when I got the stuff for the OBD2 '97 conversion in my car. Will I pay in the end? I have no clue...Brian
