ok, i will give i another shot if every1 that posted is serious.

here is the rundown:

this is what i will require from the participants. i got the quote a while ago but as long as he holds to it, look to pay $88 each if there are 10 people total interested.

more than 10 then the price goes down, less than 10 price it doesn't happen unless every1 involved wants to pay more. i myself am getting one so i will need 9 more participants.

as be4 i am going to be using the same guy as he has always produced really good results for me. unless otherwise stated everything is cnced. which is why the price is high. i can't help that, i am not making anything so i cannot lower the price any. i am doing it just to get the actual product for myself and whoever else is involved.

this is what i need from you guys:

step 1 pm me if you want one and i will post the results weekly until the target number is reached.

step 2 after the target number is reached, i will have to collect the money in advance for the product. you can back out up until i actually contract the job(i.e. collect money from every1 and call the guy and give him the green light) in which case there are no refunds.

if some1 backs out i will have to wait until some1 fills the spot or i will come to every1 with the adjusted price and see if every1 is willing to pay it.

step 3 wait until the guy finishes them, then i will get every1's shipping quotes and send them. on another note the machinst's timeframe varies as these jobs are far from his bread and butter and he must find a timeslot to fit this in.

i have had this guy make several products be4 and i had to collect the $$$ in advance and the previous buyer's were happy with the products and can vouch for the fact that i will not run off with your cash.

if u do a search for group buy, you might find a few of them lingering around if u want to see the guy's past work. he made the ud wp pullies, the aluminum timing covers and something else i think.

lastly, i will update the participant count every monday.

Sounds good, For how long of time are you going to let pass to see how many people you can get? 1, 2, 3 months? Our how long roughly? If we got a bunch of people that would be awesome. Do you have pics of the tool to post so everyone can see them again to promote as much interest as we can?

not sure on how long i will let it go. but as soon as i get 9(if i get 9 more) i will go to the machinist then.

after i call him there will still be a "buy in" window until he actually makes them. after he calls me and says they are done, that is it as far as the group buy. but just b/c one gb is over doesn't mean i will not take request. if you get some people together and would want another run, i would be happy to assist you with making it happen. that goes for anything he has made in the past too.

a bunch of peeps would indeed be awesome b/c that means they would be cheaper for us all...yay.

unfortunately, i do not have any pix of the finished product b/c it was never made. the original tool is at the guy's shop where it has been since the 1st attempt but i will try to get in touch with some1 else i know and see if he will shoot me a pic of his original timing tool. the new tools will very closely resemble the originals except they will be constructed of stronger metal so they will still be useful after a few applications.

i am not knocking the originals at all, great design btw.

I might be interested, post some pics please, and just a thought, maybe an eBay auction? Put a Buy It Now on it with the description that the parts are in the process of being milled and may take some time. Your call though, I just think this might get us a couple more and drive the price down a bit.

Will this tool work on the Front and Rear Cam Carriers while on the vehicle?

Are all the Timming marks being lazer etched?

And

How does this mount? Is it a Cam hold down tool as well basicly?

they work on both front and rear carriers, it mounts by bolting into the factory hole used by the stock cam hold down tool. yes it is basically a cam hold down tool but you can adjust each cam seperately unlike the factory tool.

laser etched timing marks, unfortunately not. they will probably have the 0 marks on them and that may be the best i can do for the price. the original tools used stickers on them, i do not know how accurate they were and will not copy them. a degree wheel would be best for accurate timing and as long as there is a 0 mark for reference it should be no problem.

ok guys im a little confused on what the hell is going on here what is this that everyone seems to what,a tool to set ur timing ????? and is it the 6/6 timing setup cuz if it is im down for getting one of those.

well another monday is almost past and there are still only 3 people that have pmed me about these tools.

if any1 wants one, pm me and let me know so you can get in on it. it will be a 1 time buy if it ever happens. i will not mass produce them and there will not be any extras.

if some1 has the capability, jump in, buy one and copy it or improve upon it. i will not care, i'd be flattered.

u got it hayes, also i didn't know this until recently but the tops will be cut so you can use a wrench for extra torque to turn the flats.
