sourmug: i am on the guy's ass already but he keeps giving me the same frustrating bs.

hayes: i have done business with him several times be4 so no upfront payment is required of me anymore. it also gives me some flexibility. as of now nothing is "locked in" (he hasn't made anything and i do not owe him anything) and i am perfectly able to give refunds if any1 gets tired of waiting.

i will definately contact you as soon as i get the word.

blueflame: nothing new from him, as of now i am not looking to find an alternative b/c it would a huge PITA. 1 reason being i do not know any1 else and 2 i would have to re-quote everything etc.. etc.

fierofreak: i cannot give you what i do not have. he says he is backed up, he says next week. all i can do is repeat it.

identity crisis: unfortunately you have to pre-pay to get one. it will be a 1 time run unless at least 10 peeps want them after the initial run and i may be able to sanction a second run.

i wish i had better news but i do not. i am pretty pissed by now, i will keep up the heat for 1 more week then we shall seek alternative methods.

if you guys want after this coming week i can give him an ultimatum and see what happens or do you guys wat his phone number and we can all bug him? lmk what you want to do.

I thought that this was a done deal and we were just waiting on enough people. But I think I will wait longer since it seems there is a hassel with this right now. As for the money...I have the money I just dont want to get into a waiting game. If this guy steps up and decides yes it is a go then let me know and I will transfer you the cash.

I'm not looking for a refund or anything like that. I'm very patient (hence the reason I kept bumping this thread early on) and will wait. I just like to be informed of what's going on from time to time. Keep up the good work, I'm sure it will all come together in the end. -Jason

you are doing a good job keeping us posted and i can wait no problem.
i don't think you should give this guys phone number for anyone to bug him or give him an ultimatum sense he still tries to answer you about a time frame .
i am sure some guy's might get impatient especially if they need the tool ,but
you worked with this guy before and done o.k.

Huh? The tools are hold down tools. They would still require a degree wheel to time other than straight up, but you definitely need something to hold the cams in place.

UPDATE:

well i have news, i talked to him today and he says that he has almost completed all the aluminum bases. good thing we have a past he said it took him nearly 4 hours to draw them.

the bases are going to be done probably monday. after that he says he has to draw the flats and run them. with any luck actual completion should occur late next week.

it makes me feel good to bring some actual progress and i appreciate every1's patience.

lastly, if any of the procrastinates want one, now is the time. after he completes the bases monday that is it.
