  • waterpump redesign

when putting a rebuilt engine together i decided to spring for a new waterpump and with it came a TSB showing that it is completely redesigned over the factory ones.

i figured i would let everyone know in case any1 was rebuilding their engine or debating on a new waterpump.

i am assuming it is better than the old design.

I hope you are not referring to this style pump. http://60degreev6.com/showthread.php?t=31924 If so, then enjoy your new overheating problem because this design does not work on the DOHC's. I have personal experience with this issue. Go back to the old design.

whoa, that "redesigned" one has an impeller that many import waterpumps use (usually driven off the timing belt)
