  • WTF... my Z34 is all screwed up...

    Ok... I am confused...

I just had my engine rebuilt less than 5,000 miles ago. Now it seems like it is bogging and stuff. I can't seem to get any power out of it. I also had a new exhaust put on it. It is a full flowmaster exhaust, with dual 40-series. Sounds like crap, will be replaced later... Anywho, does anyone have any idea. I hear what sounds like valvetick which I think is a lifter going bad. I just bought a new car, so now I can start working on the Z34. If anyone has any ideas, please IM me or email me...

rebuild? new parts for timing belt? id check the belt to see if it streched and if the engine is timed correct.

      Me Again

Yeah. It ran fine for almost 5000 miles, then one day it just started loosing power and I replaced the power steering pump and now I have air in the lines and can't get it out for the life of me... I did bleed it... Still milky...
I don't know. I hope I don't have to just get rid of it. I like it a lot. I was hoping to make it as fast as my GTP someday...

check your fuel pressure, you might have a plugged filter or your pump could be going, and as for your power steering you might not have tightened the lines good enough and they could be sucking air, howw are you bleeding the system? just crank the wheel edge to edge anad hold it there for a second, thats how your supposed to bleed it.
