I was wondering where the best RPMs to shift at where in yall's opinion. I dirve a 92 Z34 5speed. I was just wondering if shifting around 6 grand instead of 7 would make a huge differance. Thanks

i have heard that these engine drop off in power for the last 1k but my auto shifts at 6500 from 1st and 6850 in the others -
I still have my 93 Auto Z34 and it shifts at the same points you just pointed out, and i definately notice the power falls off. I was just wondering if it would make a big differance if i shift 1k RPM sooner.
