WTF? I was skeptical, but those look really good! Is that made out of thick plate? I want one! And get started on the cog covers! Powder coating would be sick... PM me with some backside pics.

it ranges on the plate. i have 1/8 for myself and 2 others but really any size was available. 1 person had 3/16 and 3 others had 1/4 inch which is thick.

i personally did not do any reseach on the 1/4 so i am not sure about clearence. i know 1/8 will as it looks about the same thickness as stock and i am fairly certain 3/16 may but it will be tight.

i have had a few request actually on them. if you guys want to get together for another g/b. that is fine with me.

i talked to the machinist and pricing should be as follows for the 1/8: 1=$150 2=$90 3=85 4=$80 5=$70 anything over 5 is 65 b/c now the setup cost is split so much, all you are paying for is labor.

oh and custom covers are $90 in a group of 5+ not sure about single covers.

and to change the size from 1/8 is only 5 bux more but i have no research behind it.

there is a catch this time though. last time it was pro-bono just to get the parts out and the price down for myself. i cannot do another free run. whatever the selection is add 20% for 1, 15% for 2, 15% for 3, 10% for 4 and 10% for 5+.

if any of you guys want to post it in the store or whatever for another g/b it is all good with me. just after it is all said and done, lmk how many and give me the $$$ and i can have them for you.

yourid and sourmug i have updates for you that i think you will find pleasing. the price of the wood was only 2 dollars, so that is an extra dollar for each of you on your shipping.

my red one is for a motor that isn't back from the machine shop. i am sure there will be installed pics soon enough.

lastly, after careful consideration. i have decided not to offer any more covers. as i have had a few request for more and while it would benefit the community, i did promise the current group buyers that there would only be one run.

and making more after saying i wouldn't would make me a hypocrite that sways with the wind of the $$$ which if i can't say anything else, i can say i have enough integrity to stick to my word.

Those are just cut pieces of sheet aluminum right? if thats the case, someone could just CAD one out, and people could go get them laser/water jet cut on their own.
