work is kinda hectic after the 4 day weekend and i was/am kinda hung over. we got all caught up today and i will have a chance to call jason tomorrow.

after dec 1, i am gonna start shifting gears and harass him more often. but i appreciate all of your patience and if it were up to me, they would be done already.

I'm not in a huge rush for the timing cover butr I am interested in seeing how they look.

i am doing the cog covers but not until after i get the timing cover and install it. unlike the front cover which is fairly simple, i want to the set put on/mocked up on an actual engine with the other one installed to ensure proper fitment and quality.

UPDATE: jason said he is finally going to start pushing to get it done. so as soon as i know, you guys will know.

UPDATE: yet more bad bad news. he "says" his machine has broken and he is behind. he said best case scenerio is right be4 they leave for xmas vacation. so staring tomorrow, i am going to step it up and do a more aggressive campaign by calling and emailing him daily. my patience has run out after hearing that. damn machinist, i swear they are all worthless. i have yet to meet 1, NOT 1(i am almost in the double digits with the number of machinist i have met too) that sticks to their word on when they will be done.

i will just have to tighten up and get my own equiptment and do it all myself....HA, riiiight. can't swing that kind of dough.

i am going to stick with the same guy b/c i have seen his stuff be4 and i do not want to gamble with so much of other people's money riding on it but this may be the last g/b i do through him.

after this debaucle, i will just get personal stuff made through him and try to source some1 faster.

as far as time frame goes, i cannot trust him since every time i talk to him something new pops up but i will bug him regardless.

this is bringing back bad memories of dealing with milzy and waiting forever for a custom part. what is up with these slack fuckers? stuff looks good but damn, get it done while i am young.
