UPDATE: since the machinist has given me a delay there is room now for more. a 6th has taken advantage of this but he wants some different things done. i have to call the machinist and see if it is copesetic. if it is, the base price will drop from 70 to 67 and i will simply apply the balance to shipping.

i will have an update monday or tues on this. and for all those thinking about it, there are 2 more weeks if you still want one. i have no idea what the price will be for a 7th but i am sure it will go down, i will ask just to be sure monday.

if all is good, glad to have you on board t76racer.

p.s. now it has gotten to the point where those who were kind of sniffing around should reconsider $67 or less for a cnc timing cover is starting to get pretty reasonable i think.

this is the front timing cover only or is it the two top ones, or all three?

      I like the idea....

I am probably in, pics would be nice.

for now it is for the big front one. but after i get my engine together and to the machinist, i will offer the top ones to the peeps that get these. the front one is easy to make but when i do the top ones, i want the motor together that when he does do the top ones they will fit correctly when they get to the customers.

it is a 1 time g/b so i cannot supply any pics until they are done. the machinist will do them all at once in a single run, that is how the price goes down for every person that jumps on. if u are sincerely interested, i can get a new price for 7(which i was going to do anyway ). other than that there are a few options available. base price is for 1/8 in but u can get 1/4 in for only 5 bux more and if u need something special like some of the other peeps in here, just lmk and i will see what the difference may be.

note: i would only recommend going larger if u have something special planned like mounting something heavy duty or something. 1/8 is more than sufficient for replacement purposes. also the peeps that request 1/4 are doing so at their own risk as i have no research behind it, on whether it may be too thick and interfere with the serpentine belt and/or tensioner.

We are not going to wait for 20 peeps are we?

I hope he is running them this weekend so you can ship it to me soon,
I have the motor out and I want to put it back in, I wonder if it will be more difficult to install than stock cover.

no, of course not. i can tell you with certaintly he is not running them this weekend. he has given me the typical machinist b/s line "we are slammed etc.. "

but he doesn't do automotive and makes exceptions for me, plus his work is good, so i do not mind the wait

on the contrary, it will be much easier to install that the stocker. there will be no lips to slip in etc.. just line up the holes.

so i say go ahead and put the motor in. if u want constant updates or something i suppose i could give you his email, but he does not want me to give out his phone number. if u need the email or any g/buyers just lmk.

p.s. his name is JASON, i believe is is the CEO/owner but not 100% the business is called ADAMANTINE PRESCISION something maybe ADAMANTINE PRESCISION TOOL AND DYE but not 100%

UPDATE: i have bad news but hopefully will be followed by good news. i guess the line he gave me about being slammed was true. he doesn't want to tell any1 but i convinced him, the reason he is so backed up is he is in the middle of an expansion to a bigger shop. after hearing that, i asked him for a job(just joking) and he said he might have use for me.

which i thought was cool. anyway back on subject. so it is delayed past thanksgiving but i made him swear to me to have it done ASAP after thanksgiving. but if i do not get a raise at my current job by jan2 i may see if he was serious and then i cna crank the stuff out myself(with a little training of course )
