          they probably would, hell, my serpentine belt is thicker and wider than my sister's 1986 Hona Accords timing belt

            and we're using one belt to open 24 valves by tuning 4 cams. that's a bit more than 2 cams opening 16 valves. even in line sixes running two cams have belts that last longer than ours.
