Hey, me and my dad are kind of new to this site.

We're both kind of Z junkies. My dad owns a '92 Z34 and Im following in his foot steps with a '93 Z34(which im currently "restoring," or as i like to say, resurrecting"). I was wondering though if you guys could tell me what engine comes with them. I know its a 3.4l DOHC, but is it a long block or short? The reason I'm asking is because the Z34 I have has a blown engine. Nothing from the engine is fixable . Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Also I will post pictues. Planning on taking some this week. Their both just stock with like 1 or 2 minor mods on my dads Z. But my car is gonna stray from that this summer since it's obviously not going anywhere anytime soon.

    RE: New to site

A long block normally consists of intakes and exhaust, maybe even all the accesories. Are you saying you can't reuse your intakes or heads? Where are you located?

were both located in jax fl
and no, theres nothing but metal down in the intakes
we found pieces of a piston ring down in there
      the head gasket leaked also

id rather just fork out the money for an entirely new engine than trying to guestimate how much damage is actually done to that engine
we bought the car off of a woman my mom worked with and she drove the car to what seems like hell and back
500 bucks, heh, we werent gonna turn it down
