  • exhaust crossover tubing size

    hello, im going to be modifing the exhaust crossover and need to know the tubing size. Is it 2" ID or 2" OD? It would be helpful so i can order up some bends .
    3.4 DOHC- 95 engine, custom intake manifold, custom cams, ported exhaust manifolds, Turbonetics T-62, Haltech standalone, 13.5 psi, air/h20 intercooler... yadda yadda...
    1987 Fiero, ST lowering springs, KYB's, Clutchnet dual diaphragm 6-puck, custom paint, 18's with falken fk452 225 front Nitto NT05 245 rear. Should be around 450whp...

    Take a string and wrap it around the tube, measure the length, divide by pi. You get the diameter then which is pipe size. if your answer comes out bigger than 2 slightly, then it should be 2" ID, if it is exactly 2" then its OD. One thing I have noticed, after cutting up my stock crossover to build the Ypipe for the turbo, the size of the crossover on either end towards each exhaust manifold is larger than the middle portion of the crossover.
