during the egr bypass i needed a plug for the hole and it just hit me, what about that waterpump plug? it seemed to thread perfectly and once i get my intake tube comes back i will test it for sure for leaks.
the plug comes in gm 96-97 3.4 dohc engines. it is in the side of the waterpump. b/c the heater hose configuration is different. to remove it, simply stick a 3/8 extension into it. also for the egr plug all i need now is 2 feet of regular extensions and a universal extension on the end and i can get to it without removing anything!!!!!!
it can only work on 96-97 egr and evap.
