damn this sucks. i have been told it is 5 inches, 5 and 1/4 inches, 5 and 5/16 inches and a little under 5 and 1/3 inches. i am at a loss for the moment i guess i gotta tighten up and take it off myself b/c i have no idea who is right or wrong.

Sounds like Napatiger's measurement is pretty much the same as mine (and likely more accurate). I just used a t-square and rocked the pulley around until I got the highest length. My calipers wouldn't fit around it. 5/16" = .3125.. thats within 9 thousandths of an inch.
It shouldn't make a difference anyway as long as its not so oversized that it interferes with the timing belt cover.

dohcfiend, sorry on the post delay.. Got a new comp and had to hook it up/ figure it out. Looks like you got what you needed anyway! LOL!! I am in Chesapeake by the way. I was out Amelia way a couple months ago. Went to a drifting event at a track around Dinwiddie.

duh duh duh and the winner is: series8217 at 5 and 5/16 in. but i am sure the measurement napatiger gave is the same in metric. thanx guys.

it also proves the wp od is the same throughout the lq1 production run so i will get one from a yard and send it off. i am still deciding on a 5 or 10% ud ratio. maybe i will settle for 7.5.

sweet. u have the 95 engine? u will need to swap your harmonic balancer and crank position sensor if you didn't already know. also if you need any help lmk. i have quite a few spare parts laying around. as long as you swap your cam carriers/intake setup. i don't think you need to swap anything else.
