im going to guess the one in red is the oil feed for the head, the 2 green ones are probably oil return, and the white one, i dunno, right behind the water pump, i guess water. the appearance in the passages should hint to whats in there, black, green/white/yellow scaley crap. the high side should be the feed otherwise it would flood the heads with oil.
am i right? do i win a cookie!?
If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.
Well I have some oiling diagrams and the red holes do appear to be where the oil drains back to teh pan.
The white I have no clue. BLock not here.
The red corresponds to what appears on the head to be a cooling jacket or something of that sort. My heads I bought from a guy on PFF and where the red is at, on the head where this corresponds to, there is no discoloration there at all. Be it from oil, or coolant. It almost looks like it goes to nothing. The chamber comes through the head and then back out to what appears to go into the lower intake, but I dont' have a lower intake here.
So thats where I am stumped. I am not sure if the red is an oil drain or not. But I am pretty sure the greens are. White I am stumped.
Still unsure on the white however it also appears by looking at some heads and cam carriers I have here that all areas are for oil return. Based on the size of the holes they can't be to provide oil pressure. Thast just way too big of holes to pressurize. by that small pump.
