  • My Z died, but found a worthy replacement

Yep, after 189K and something completely screwed up in the cooling system, my Z34's head gaskets cried uncle. The motor is all but shot and since the tranny only had 4 gears left, I decided to hang it up. So another manual Z34 bites the dust. But, to my great luck my uncle just happened to have on his lot a fully loaded '98 Lunina LS with a 3100 and leather, so I bought that right up. I'll miss the power for sure, but I welcome the 3100s mileage! At least I'm keepin it in the engine family.

But all may not be lost for my old Z. My uncle wants to fix the head gaskets and he may have a 284 for it, so it may be for sale again sometime soon, but this time it would be in good working order with 5 gears. I hope he does fix it, but we'll have to see.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

Sorry to hear that your Z died. Glad you were able to get something rightaway though.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I should get some pics this weekend. The Prix comes out of storage for the next phase of its upgrades, so I'll get some shots of the two together.
