what is the fastest speed that i can go to get a drop into first.....
i was thinking it was 35 but it only does it below 30, Does that sound right?

seems like
30 or below it will go to first 31-50 stays in 3rd.....50-55 drops to 2nd 56+ stays in 3rd-2000 GTP - 332/426

my brothers 91 gtp will downshift to first at 60km/h, it will basically redline quickly then shift, kinda pointless but i tihnk it helps a bit and sounds and feels cool.

you can go 100mph and drop it into first gear, and if the computer is working correctly, it WILL NOT shift you into first gear until you reach a safe speed. While i do not reccomend going this fast and trying it, i have down shifted into first at around 45mph, and it goes to the lowest possible gear(usually 2nd) and when it slows down enough(30-40mph) it will downshift into first.Comment

my car does that, dooing 40 put it in first goes to 2nd and as soon as i hit 35 it drops to first....But why will it not go into first as soon as i get on it from a 31-35 roll?-2000 GTP - 332/426

Becuase it's kinda pointless to down shift into a gear that you'll only be in for very short time, then up shift again. It's probably slower to do that also.-Sean
