The oil dipstick tube should just pull out of the block, right? The reason I ask is when some friends and I werein the garage having a smoke break (landlady says no smoking in the house) someone kind of fell into the motor while it was on the stand, and broke the handle off the stick. Its about a half inch down the tube, no way to get pliers or anything down there.

RE: Dipstick
Well, I would use a mag, but the handle has that little O ring on it that keeps it in place, and I don't think that a magnet would pull it out.
Goatman was kind of my nickname in high school. My last name is Goudy (Gow-dy, just like that sports announcer) My metals fab teacher used to call me goad, and then it sort of evolved into goat. People all over just seem to have a hard time getting my name right, I've been called goo-dy, goady, gaydey, and a bunch of other things that I've forgotten over the years.1993 Lumina Z34 - Broke Yet Again
