I've just finished a 1991 3.4 TDC motor built for BIG HP at 18 + lbs. of boost. Built for my car but need to pay some bills.

    Complete rebuild.

Overbored .060 with Keith Black Racing Hyper-U pistons
New Sodium Valves, also oversized and angle cut
Tuned heads, ported and polished increasing 47 cfm!!!
Heads milled with Copper O-Rings for increased boost
Intake (upper and lower) port matched and extrude honed for increase airflow.
    Under Drive Pulley
New belts, guides, bearings and seals
Retarded Exhaust Cam timing for increase power
In short... one goin' some of a gun!

EDITED -- Forgot to mention that it will need your old Power Steering Pump as it has a custom Power Steering Idler Pulley (replaced PS Pump and add HP) and a custom AC Idler if you want it to replace the AC Pump for more HP also.

    $3250 obo
    $2250 with core exchange

Brand new T3/T4 Turbo specially built for this application is $795.

Shipping is extra, local pickup available.

All the parts and steps are available individually for your motor as well, ask for prices.

Forgot to mention I have two 5-speed trannies to go with these motors. One is brand new rebuilt from Factory GM and the other has 10K original miles on it. Taking offers...

          Twin Dual Cam
It says it on the black cover in between the manifolds .. Also covers the lower 3 fuel injectors .. In 91-93 (I believe) .. it says 3.4L Twin Dual Cam

The Greater Portland, OR Metro Area.

Personally, I have always thought that the TDC was more correct in that the engine has TWO TWIN CAMS as opposed to DOHC which implies that it has ONE set of twin cams.

Like Saying QUAD CAM versus TWIN CAM. One implies FOUR while the other TWO.

So... I use TDC more than DOHC. Just a personal thing.

                  Who says I haven't? LOL!!!

The motor I'm selling is for a Auto Cross race car I've decided not to persue.

I also have a 1991 GTP and that engine is a 91 also with o-ringed heads, big cams, big pistons, shelved valves, but also a piggy back engine management (haltek), tuned injectors, custom springs, ECU tweek for higher rpms, deleted speed limiter, etc... But the big Turbo running 18lbs of boost is the big addition. Intercooler, Alcohol air/fuel TB injection, 7th and 8th Injectors... you get the idea.

I have yet to Dyno but I fully expect to pull around 500+ HP with all the mods and the boost turned way up (it'll run 21lbs). I just need ONE PASS at or above 500 HP and I'll back it all back down for reliable driving. But I will have documentd the power.

This is the latest NA Dyno I've had to date... attached. The Turbo will certainly affect the curve.

Portland is in Oregon. The NW corner of the US just below Washington State (where I physically live), just below Canada near Vancouver, BC.

Shipping is relative to the carrier and contacts you have. I know guys that Race on both sides of the border, so transportation of a "race motor" may be cheaper through them than sending commercial. I've sent motors to Michigan and beyond for under a couple hundred bucks. I've also sent them for $600 door to door, coast to coast.

I'd love for you to have one as well!

                    Sorry... missed that.

The trannies are the Heavier Duty 284s. The GOOD ones.
