exh. port size

    i was just wondering if anyone would tell me what the size of the exh. port is. im thinkin about makin my own headers and lookin on the site i saw the formula, and i need to know what the port size is. im workin on a 94 grand prix is that makes a difference.

      Well its in the dohc section. So I'm going out on a limb and guessing our fav.... the 3.4 dohc!

          What year? The '95 and earlier had a somewhat round exhaust port, while the '96 and newer had a much larger oval port, approximately 2.6" by 1.1".

          Edit: Sorry..I just saw...it's a'94. Here's a thread on the Fiero board to check out: http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/037834.html There is a pic about halfway down that compares the two different heads. You should be able to get an idea of the size of the port by using the '96 dimensions listed above.
