My engine has been out of my car for quite some time now, little things just keep popping up. Last week we had temps in the tens and low teens for highs, but today we made it up to 52 for a high. My entire engine, and actually just about everything else in the garage as well, is now covered in condensation, like quite a bit. This shouldn't do any harm to the engine, should it? It is going back into the car hopefully tomorrow morning. I'd be a little irked if it's fucked up because of temp change.

RE: A little condensation
Thats a good point to bring up, im in MN and I went out to my motor yesterday and it was also covered in condensation. The plenum was off and uncovered.....stupid i know. I pulled the cam covers and lower intake yesterday and covered everything up this time. Hopefully she stays a little cleaner and more dry.

RE: A little condensation
Condensation. Crudola. We had a temperature run here from -8 to 62 in a week along with a foot and a half of snow. Everything in my garage condensated like crazy toolbox, tools, garage floor(its still beaded up) etc. A briggs engine I had tore apart sweated really bad and is starting to look rusted. I should have sealed it up but failed to do it. Im sure many people are having the same problems in the midwest.2004 Grand Am GT 3400 ... RE: A little condensation
Yea, the midwest sucks for that. Dont like the weather, wait 5 minutes, it'll change. Well, I got the engine back in the car and the holes are all covered now, course its cooled off again, so we'll see what happens.1993 Lumina Z34 - Broke Yet Again
