96 Monte Z34 Window Dead

Is this a problem with these vehicles, if so what turned out to be the fix?

My window would roll down but not up. I took off the panel to find the window would 'get off track' kinda hard to fix took about two hours with inside panel removal.

Hey. Not sure if you checked MyMonte yet. But, this is super common on our cars. The switch gets wet if it rains/snows w/the window open (or opening the door) and will eventually die. I've had to replace mine once, along w/ most of the guys over at MM. Expensive POS switches they put in...haha...

Edit: Oh. Also, the Auto-Down on the drivers switch will sometimes stick, causing the window to keep trying to go down at the stop (which in turn yields you not being able to put the drivers window up).

The other day I was driving to a fast food joint thinking geeze I wish my window would seal all the way and I was playing with the buttons thinking there may be corrosion inside and since they are self cleaning switches pressing them repeatedly would do the job. Suddenly the window went all the way up and the little air sound around my window went away. So the little devil in me thinking well if it worked for up well it must work for down. So I repeated clicked on the down button and sure enough the window started to go down. YES! I thought and then I tried to make it go back up and low and behold the switch worked but the window just made this weird clicking noise. Ah Crap I thought its like subzero outside. So when I finally got to McyDs I helped it up the rest of the way. So no more wind noise from my window but its something inside. Anyone have any ideas? Oh and by the way I tried MyMonte.com and even though I registered a million times I never got a confirmation email even after emailing the admin. Anybody have some pull with the admin to get my account fixed for wiserocz? I'd like to post but cannot.

i have replaced both motors for 1993 cutlass and both in my 1993. I think it might be a problem, what do you think? :-0
I haven't really had a problem with the windowswitch, but have had to replace the switch because of themirrow switch.
