Need the speedo signal of the Getrag 284; anyone?

I am swapping in the entire 3.4 tdc with 5 spd 284 from a 92 Lumina; I need to know what the signal is for running the speedo as I will be getting an aftermarket speedo; probably a programmable Auto Meter or similar.

Anybody know what it is? I have looked and can't find ANYthing.....

Well after continuing to look I found the answer; since nobody on ANY board has come up with it but there are quite a number of 'looks' ..... I will post it here.

A guy who does fiero swaps etc etc had a very good thread on a 3.4 dohc swap into a fiero and in that thread he mentioned that the stock Vin X ECM was looking for 24,000 pulses per mile from the 5 spd VSS.

So, that is the best info I have and hopefully it will work with an aftermarket speedo.
