    I don't know what it is but its the same for the 3.1 as well. I think GM used the same MAP sensor for a ton of cars for a long time. It only looks different because of the carrier it sticks into.

      I found that there are dif 1 bar map sensors. Im using one from an v8 and apparently thats why Im running rich above 50% TPS. The first weeks I didnt have problems and was using my bros 1 bar map sensor from his Fiero.

      Thats why I ask for the part number.

      Is there any source I can get the part number?

      Thanx

        gmpartsdirect.com probably, or call the dealership and have them compare the MAP sensor numbers. Unless the V8 sensor was using a different voltage reference, i dunno why it would be causing problems. It should have thrown a code if that was the case.

          Here is the info I foun on the web:

          For a 1 bar GM sensor
          16072049
          16017460
          16187556

          Vout = Vref ( ( 0.01059 * P ) - 0.10941 )

          V in voltage, and P in kPa

          EG:
          Vref = 5.00 Volt
          P = 80 kPa
          Vout = 3.69 V

          A BARO sensor,
          16022790
          16006833
          1 bar map sensor
          16006835
          16042459

          Vout = Vref ( ( 0.01059 * P ) - 0.1518 )

          A 2 bar GM sensor
          (can't find numbers)

          Vout = Vref ( ( 0.005 * P ) - 0.04 )

          A 3 bar GM sensor
          16040749
          16036394

          Vout = Vref ( ( 0.003183 * P ) - 0.003529 )
