This post is for GALEN
Man you suck. How dare you, try to insult Ben's credibility as a DOHC tuner. He is without question one of the most knowledgable members of this site. He doesn't give out any bullshit advice here at all, and does nothing but try to help people. Then you come along and insult him and his business. He doesn't push his work on anybody, he mearly points them to best place to get LQ1 heads ported. Not to mention, I have ported a set of these heads myself, and for the amount of time it takes he is not making much money at all. I applaud him for that, because it is very teadious work, and it just shows that he does it more because he loves it then for profit. That, in it's self will show that you will get only top quality work.
I say ban your ass. We don't need Nay-Sayers like you here.

You think you have because they have flow charts. Well there goes logical reasoning for anything I have said. I can't imagine anyone spending 48+ hours on a set of heads (thats straight labor hours, not 2 days time), plus flowmatching, and selling heads for what I charge. I also doubt they have done any testing on these heads and motors, but who knows. There has to be someone else out there.
Your title keeps ringing true with me though aaron. You obviously don't know how I do manage to port heads. My eyes are useful, but its my fingers that are trained.Ben

being a pushrodder I didn't want to post here but, i just gotta say that Ben is a better man than me for letting this guy's post count get past 5. it's obvious that that any car knowledge Galen possesses does not help the site, his main interest seems to be in bad mouthing Ben. I have not gained anything by reading this posts.I wish 10% of the people on the road knew how to drive

As an attest to not needing a flowbench... The performance shop here in town that almost every circle track and drag racer goes to to get headwork done doesn't have a flowbench. Yet people trust his work, and it has been proven over and over again that it is probably the best in the area. There is another shop about a block away that does have a flowbench, and if someone wants numbers, then he'll bring them to the other shop to put them on the flowbench. Yet he has been doing this "professionally" for over 20 years.-Brad-

Galen, i dont like you... probably just because your name is a famous counter-strike name from like 8 years ago, get a life man. There, i've insulted you, now you may leave proud to have been insulted by one as great as me.
firstly... dude... air is a gas...
ok secondly. Although some dyno's and some proof that ben's headwork works would be nice and would probably triple my likelyhood of spending the money, it isn't necissary. Tell you what galen... donate about 300 dollars to this site, so ben can go out and dyno it. You will have actually helped the 660 community, for the first and only time. I dont care about fancy shmancy flow numbers, all i care about is dyno's, why? because im stupid. Actually because im too lazy to learn about flow numbers and stuff, when/if i ever port a head i'll learn, until then, dyno's are all i need to see.
I read about that CNC replica machine thing, have they done it yet??? I thought they had said they were going to flowtest both the original and replica to prove they came out identical?2001 Mustang GT

Im not aware of them flowbenching the heads after they finish with the machine, but it would be interesting. Esepcially since I ported out the intake side more than I have before, so much that I consider it more for boost until I run it on my car. I will have to ask about that though.Ben
