Sappyse made and programmed the chips for FFP, therefore they are the EXACT same chip, identical in every way. (thats how i understand it anyways)

Hey sappy, you were going to look into getting me some info on a chip for california. There is someone over at w-body.com that is selling your chip for 50 bucks used. What would it cost to have that one retuned? EurosportZ34 is selling his already reprogrammed. Are there going to be any differences between everyone else's chip and a CA chip? Thanks.

I don't seem to have a california chip for anything that I have the federal chip version of to compare. The only one I have found is for a 3 speed 3.1 W body in 93, but I dont have the updated federal chip to compare to...which means they could very easily have updated other aspects of the chip and they would be california changes. So I don't know what the difference is.

If the chip you buy used was designed for your car (same platform and engine) then I don't charge to reflash it. If you buy one for a different car, I charge $50 to flash it to the new vehicle.

ok Ben i sent you the money for the chip today, i forgot though in the modifications if it matters the car has a high flow cat on it and magnaflow straight through mufflers. you should get the money either friday or monday , just let me know when you get it. thanks
