I just hooked up a set of driving lights mounted them along side my yellow fog lights. Some people hate to be in front of me at night.

well I hope you've got your driving lights set up so they only come on with the high beams.

i just did a full frontend Silverstar conversion. 4157s (parking lamps), 9005s, 9006s and finally 880s (fogs). i will keep track of the silverstar reliability, but damn do they look ultra nice!

i figured too, that if people would love eBay like me, theyd see that getting a pair of Silverstars for $20 is not impossible!

How about some good before and after pics? I am going to do a headlight upgrade and I have yet to decide exactly what route I will be going. What kind of difference did you find when driving?

my lights are white and everyone elses are yellow. much better lighting than stock. of course, i actually spent the time aligning my sealed beam lenses and my fogs. it looks really nice actually...if i can get my hands on a digicam, ill take pics of the my GTP versus my old SE.

I do in case, but have a override switch in really bad weather where a low profile high beam works good at least to see the centerline and the shoulder line. It just so happens that I like to use them in bad weather and I catch up to people the combination of low level stock lights with the lower position running lights seem to work better than the high or low beams alone. The driving lights I have I put a internal plate to restrict the light upwards. Hehe I also rigged a switch to turn on the dims with the high beams so all the lights can be on at the same time, most new cars you can do that by holding in the switch lever.

My fogs are on when ever I feel, they are a high level yellow and are prevented from glaring upwards with an internal plate. They shut off when ever the ignition is off same with all the lights, automatic turn off.

Cool. I just get irked when people go down the road with their high powered driving lights blinding me... they don't know the difference between them and foglights.
