Some people have said that the crank sensor setups are different between the 96-97 and the previous. i can't vouch for the 91-93. but today in preparation for my ud pulley i pulled my old pulley and counted the notches on the damper of the 96. i have and i kept the 94 damper and sensor for this purpose(cause if it was different i was going to switch them). THEY ARE IDENTICAL.

i can't speak for the architexture of the sensor but it looks identical right down to the wire colors. if there is a difference in idle circuits it must be in the pcm b/c the sensor(IMO) and damper are the same.

if any1 has an o-scope I can test the sensors some time and let you know on that for sure too.

91-93 is different for the not having the 24X crank sensor or the intake cam sensor. I have no idea why they would change it between 94-97 when they need the same inputs.
