  • New Spark Plug Design

Check these out. I don't know the cost, but I sure won't be buying any. Seems hoaky to me.

E3 Spark Plugs deliver performance that increases power, improves fuel efficiency, and reduces emissions in your car, truck, motorcycle, powersports and lawnmower.

Power output improved by 6% to 12% on average in typical operating ranges

Ill wait for some independent testing to be done before I bother

I don't buy into these things. ALL spark plugs make ONE spark each time it is told to, no matter how many electrodes there are or how they are arranged, and it is only as hot as the ignition signal that it gets. If someone is that concerned with all this stuff that they claim, they should get an MSD box and index some good old AC Delco's.

They may as well have made their fireball look like a duck or something, cause its just animated:P THe only plugs im interested in are the same type but they don't extend into the CC so much. I wonder how well they would work with a dome and high compression pistons, so that you don't hit the spark plug with the piston.

I don't really see what advantage there is with that type of design.

Think I'll stick to my Rapidfire 8's.

Its the same as those halo plugs that chris tried out. I don't even remember his results but he doesnt run them so I can only assume it was pointless. They open up the middler so the flame can go straight out instead of off to the side.

I doubt any of us are gonna buy their plugs and then spend the money and time to dyno test them.

i dont think there would be any performance gain (HP increase wise)
no matter what plugs you use
i do think that there is a difference between good plugs and bad plugs
and that if you get shitty plugs to start with you will gain HP when you switch to decent ones but thats just cause the ones you have either suck or just needed to be changed

                      Improved fuel economy by 7%

So I WILL get 21.4MPG instead of 20mpg... They didn't say up to, so I WILL expect that gain.

                      --

                      Improved power output by 12%

Assuming they mean Horsepower... I WILL gain 25.2HP on my "stock" LQ1... But they probably mean spark power, which is cheating because you don't really need more power than stock.

Maybe I should try these plugs and then file lawsuit for false advertising if I find any of it to be false.

                          index

If more people would do this b4 making an upgrade maybe we would have a better baseline to judge from. I ve seen simple indexing plugs make a poor idling mouse motor better. Course it had more mods too
