Ok, a few people have seen the setup I have in the 92 stereo wise. I was thinking about putting in 2 neons beside the electronic crossover (the cossover is mounted where the stock Bose amplifier goes (mounted to the underside of the rear deck) for those that don't know) that way it would be easier to see when it is dark. Right now, all I have for light back there is the stock mercury switched trunk lid light. It is ok for stuff that is directly under it, but for place else in front of the trunk lid, it doesn't work well for. So, my question to you is, if I put 2 neons under the rear deck for more light, not for the cool factor or rice factor, would you guys consider it rice. Personally, I kind of think the fast and the furious cars were cool, but would not do that to my personal car. Also, I don't think using neons for light and not for looks would be crossing the "line". What do you guys think?

I think it would be cool.. having a nice audio setup (including lights) in the trunk is always cool. Lights on the exterior should depend on what kind of wheels you got and the height of the car in order to look cool, and interior neon lights look cool if done right but still a bit ricey for me.

It's not rice if the lights are controlled by a standard house wall switch, at least a Leviton oneBrian

Gee, we have Leviton 3 way switches at work. I will have to nab a couple, some 14-3 wire and a couple boxes and covers so I can switch them on and off from the drivers seat or trunk, lol. I guess the hillbilly factor of it would cancel out the rice and just make it ghetto, right?-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

BTW, here is a pic of the "bump in the trunk" for those that haven't seen it (I have cleaned up the wires some since this pic too):
