  • Anyone have a BBUK

BBUK (p/n 16181397) is the final '93 Memcal for a LQ1 with Getrag. Suppliers list but none have (out of stock or discontinued).

Does anyone have a .bin they could share or Memcal I could rent/buy ?

Well sorta. My 93 GTP (9/92 prod) had a BCFA but the June 93 P&A shows the BBUK as the service replacement. I do not have the TSBs but there is a difference and am curious what it is.

Have seen this before in 3800s (e.g. 88 ANCX increased the start fuel pump duty cycle as a response to reports of cold weather hard starting).

Am a newbie to the LQ1 but have been studying GM ECMs & "fixing" programs since the Computer Command Control.

      Note the different part number

ps I also have a stock AWML .bin (LQ1/M27 probably '92). How do I upload to the .bin file ?

pps someone has diddled with the posted BCFA since the checksum is missing. It is 58 c2 0f 51.
