is the exhaust ona 5 speed the saem as an auto?, i have a smaller looking resonatorright after were my cat would be, and nothing else. the cat was replaced with a non rusting glasspack/highflow cat ?(i'm not sure). my automatic has large resonator behind the passenger tire has the exhaust been replaced?

my 5 speed and auto both had the same exhaust stock. now they are performance, but out of the factory they were the same. but i think the 5 speed always sounded better than the auto. i think it was because you cant hear the auto tranny winding up and shit. with the 5 speed all you hear is engine . makes it sound alot better.

The exhaust's should be the same. If there is a resonator right after the cat, then it is not stock.

I found out a while back that the exhaust on my 92 isn't stock. It is the same size, but has mandrel bends, a cat with an AIR inlet on it, and what looks like a glasspack as a resonator behind the passenger side wheel. Nick said he had Flowmaster 40's on it, but it was too loud so he put stock mufflers back on it. I have been told by a guy with an RX7 that I raced that my car sounds pretty mean (as I beat him out of the hole and to the end of our strip), lol.
