Do you mean the shifter bezel (with the shift boot) or the whole console. Last I knew the console itself was universal for the manuals and autos, but the bezel itself is what changed.

Best bet is to go online and search for junk yards and start calling around. When i had to replace the armrest on the center consol i just searched and found one in New york (entire center consol) for like 50 or 60 dollars and just had them pull it apart and ship just the arm rest. The junkyards are out there u just have to find them.

You can also find someone to cut a piece of thin aluminum and make a custom bezel. Wouldn't be too hard, that's what my friend did for his 79 Datsun 280ZX. members.cardomain.com/lagsalot2k

Here's another one. Found a lot of items. It's an on-line salvage yard. http://www.usedpartscentral.com/indexg.htm
