5 speed oil gauge

my 92 s peed z 34 is an original 5 speed but has a alternator gauge and no oil pressure gauge, i thought that all manuals had to come with oil press and autop with alt, could the clusters have been swithced?, would the gauges work if they were?

I think that the oil gauge was a option on all cars, or the other way around, and I think if you get the oil gauge u can just swap them out and it should work, ohh and change ur oil switch to a sender (so it registers on the dash).
