I'm curious too about the 94's with no trans cooler. Maybe if mine had one the tranny would not have crapped out? That will be my first addition when it gets back. Mine can't even handle my foot, much less tow a trailer. I'm getting a little leary of the 4T60-E! :wtf:

But really guys, you can do a ton better than stock for $150.00. A really good investment too.

You could get an very large aftermarket tranny cooler for like $60-75USD. Then you can get a used stock engine oil cooler for a price similar to that of dirt.....keep in mind there is some pretty pricy dirt out there. Or you could get an aftermarket setup for about the same price as the tranny cooler.

That's funny, I could have swore I saw in the 92 Chevrolet car lineup book that came with the 92 that it said NOT to tow anything with the Z34's or the Euro3.4. They must have known the trannys were crap behind that engine to have that in the book. Speaking of aftermarket tranny coolers, I put one on the 91 before the last auto blew that measured about 14"x10"x1". Ben said I could cool hell with that thing, lol. I beleve that it was rated for vehicles up to 19k lbs or something retarded like that, and don't remember what the btu rejection was for it, but it was not the cheap tube and fin style, it was the better more efficient stacked plate style. Mine was the Maxi-Kool XL, and was most likely an overkill.
