can someone post a pic of a 1996/97 engine? trying to compare where the throttle body sits in reference to the 1995 throttle body. a full engine shot filling the pic would be nice

EDIT: judging by the MAF its at least a 94. not sure when the different injector cover started though...

looks good. I sat the new intake manifold on top of the old one and looks like it will be close but it should fit with little to no modifications to the turbo setup other then a charge pipe to MAF. intake gaskets are on order hopefully it will be done on sunday, i need a few more gaskets and crap but i have it all cleaned up ready to go.

Sweet. looks like the MAF sits about in the same location. if the weather is nice i will do the swap tomorrow. need to get new plugs and VC gaskets and its ready..

There are a couple hoses different i might need to round up the hoses.. the hose that comes out below the TB, where does that one go? it looks like it heats the TB then has a nipple going out to maybe a heater core or something...

If you need any pictures let me know.. I have a 96 Lumina LS 3.4 DOHC parts car i tearing down for the engine and engine harness.. i can get you whatever pics you need to try to help you out..

That junkyard you got the intakes from.. how much do they charge for computers? I am looking for a spare 96 DOHC computer for a good cheap price.. When my computer gets tuned im going to have another tuned exaclty the same that way if i need adjustments i can send the one and keep driving till the adjustments are changed on the one and can swap them out.. Theres no charge for another computer to get a copyof the same tune so mind as well take up on that offer..

they charged me like $30 or so iirc for the ecu. i have it in the garage, figured it would come in handy sometime.

can you look and see where the hose that comes out of the throttle body goes? and also the hose that connects to the metal line from the water pump the the lower intake has a T in it, where does the other side of that line go... Im assuming its heater core in and out... i just need to make sure i have all the parts before i start.

yes both lines you are talking about are heater core lines..
