i know you just insert it into a grommet but what size grommet do you need
thanks
You would want to measure it with calipers and buy the grommet that matches that size. Or you could measure the hole it came out of. I assume you are replacing the stock air box?? Of course you want to use a rubber silicone grommet to prevent leaks and make a nice tight seal.
does anyone know if the new style IATS is interchangeable with the older cars? the newer one is much more compact. i would drill a hole w/ a Unibit/step bit and plug the rubber PCV grommet from the parts store in the pipe and plug the IATS in the grommet. i will look a the number on my grommet when i get home. i have a handfull left from when i built intakes.
Pretty sure i used "Help/Dorman" brand PCV grommet number 42316. worked well cause the rubber would expand on both sides of the hole so it would make a nice seal, just make sure not to over drill the hole or will not seal up maybe even fall out.
