93 z34 security feature??

does the 93 lumina z34 has anykind of security device? (anti theft) i want to install my alarm but one of the installers asked me that the lumina z34 might have this from the factory? i dont think it has one, does anyone else know?

it might have VATS (PASSKEY II) what does your key look like?

no the key looks just like a normal key, no chip on it, or anything unusual.

then your anti-theft system consists of door locks and framed windows...

i doubt a 93 lumina would have passkey... its too old i think.

i know the GPs and Cutlasses had the option of them by then, might have been an option for the lumina by then...

I cant remember if my 1994 Z34 had a passkey but i know my 1995 Z34 does.

i just found out from gm the lumina z34's never came with a pass key (unless ordered from the customer)

My 93 Z34 doesn't have VATS.. I didn't think it was an option in that year.. Learn something new every day!! My 99 Lumina does have it,, one of these days I gotta solder in a resistor and bypass that..
