    thanks, I can check those wires when the car is not running correct ? going to drop the gas tank and see what the wires there are looking like and check the values for the pump, maybe put a pump in while I have it down, at this point I am tired of throwing parts at it LOL appreciate your help

      like i said, running or not, as long as the key is rolled forward(as if you're about to start it), the TPS should be getting 5 volts. might need someone else to move the throttle(in the car since there won't be a lot of room at the throttle body) to see if it has problems thoughout the range the throttle has.
      1995 Monte Carlo LS 3100, 4T60E...for now, future plans include driving it until the wheels fall off!

        dropped the tank, wires inside the tank look fine, did find a vaccum line off at the fuel evaporator canister, replaced all rubber lines, they were brittle and a deteroated pretty bad, put an extra cover over the rear lines, looks like heat from the muffler had melted one of them , something for others to look at, car starts and idles up , smooth as silk, going to recheck the wires and values, fingers crossed
