I hope you have a deep pocket book. Porting is expensive, and can trash a set of heads if not done right. Also if you're not going with custom rods, or the 327 SBC rods, have your stockers shot-peened and have the rotating assembly balanced.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

No, the big end needs machined narrower, but otherwise are the right length and both end bores are the right size.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

Has many used these 327 connecting rods this way and had them work fine? If so, that would be a much cheaper way of getting light "H" beam rods for a 3.4 dohc then having a custom set made...
They still do cost a good buck though..1991 Grand Prix STE

I don't recall anyone running them, but I do recall the talks about them being identical floating around, just wider on the big end. But yeah, I wouldn't mind having 2 to put on the shelf vs the price tag on a full custom set of 6.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

Custom made rods can be VERY expensive... over $1k for the set. Narrowing a set of 327 rods should be cheaper and work quite well for most setups.
