  • Exhaust Manifold Stud Size?

I've been to all the major autoparts stores and Napa and not one of them has it listed in their computer.

My car and manuals are at the garage so I don't have anything to reference here. Can anyone tell me the size, thread pitch, etc of the exhaust manifold studs so they can maybe cross reference with something else?

I've heard that SBC exhaust manifold studs are the same but i don't know if it is true. Any particular year/make/model? This is literally the last thing I need to get the car back on the road.

Probably 8mmx1.25 like the rest of the 60 degree engines, but I'm not a DOHC guy

I went to the garage to get one so I have something to show them tomorrow - I believe they are the same size/thread pitch as the intake manifold bolts so I think M8x1.25 may be correct.
